This is a great recipe for the bunch of Italian Parsley that came in your farm share.
Parsley
Pesto
½
cup roasted sesame tahini
1
cup firmly packed flat leaf parsley, washed and dried well
½
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1
tablespoon minced garlic (4 cloves)
1
tablespoon grated lemon rind (1 large lemon)
2
tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½
teaspoon coarse salt
¼
teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
1/3
cup olive oil
Wash
and dry parsley leaves in spinner basket of Tupperware Quick Chef
Pro.
Chop
garlic in Quick Chef Pro with metal blade.
Coarsely
chop parsley leaves and put into Quick Chef Pro with metal blade. Add
tahini, Parmesan cheese and lemon rind. Chop finely.
Add
lemon juice, salt and pepper. Chop, while adding oil in a thin
stream, until smooth.
Store
in Quick Chef Pro bowl with lid.
Serve
on pasta, rice or vegetables. If sauce is too thick, add some water
from cooking pasta or vegetables.
